Las Vegas – This Saturday night, Canelo Alvarez will be moving up from middleweight to light heavyweight, to take on WBO champion Sergey Kovalev at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas on DAZN (6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET).
Canelo, who is coming off of a decision victory over Daniel Jacobs in May, is the favorite to beat Kovalev in this fight. Kovalev himself is coming off of a huge victory, knocking out Anthony Yarde the 11th round of their fight.
Kovalev (34-3-1, 29 KOs) who is a legitimate light heavyweight, will look to work off of his jab to keep Canelo (52-1-2, 35 KO’s) honest, but how will he hold up under Canelo’s relentless body attack?
Canelo is a – 450 favorite in this fight, while Kovalev os coming into the fight at +300. Odds makers also have a draw at 25/1.
So, who does the family see winning Saturday night’s title fight?
