Las Vegas – This Saturday night, Canelo Alvarez will be moving up from middleweight to light heavyweight, to take on WBO champion Sergey Kovalev at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas on DAZN (6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET).

Canelo, who is coming off of a decision victory over Daniel Jacobs in May, is the favorite to beat Kovalev in this fight. Kovalev himself is coming off of a huge victory, knocking out Anthony Yarde the 11th round of their fight.

Kovalev (34-3-1, 29 KOs) who is a legitimate light heavyweight, will look to work off of his jab to keep Canelo (52-1-2, 35 KO’s) honest, but how will he hold up under Canelo’s relentless body attack?

Canelo is a – 450 favorite in this fight, while Kovalev os coming into the fight at +300. Odds makers also have a draw at 25/1.

So, who does the family see winning Saturday night’s title fight?

The family makes their picks.

“I love Canelo, he’s definitely the face of boxing today, but moving up 2 weight classes to fight a guy like Kovalev is still a huge risk for him. I see a tough fight for both guys, with Canelo looking to work the body while Kovalev uses his height and reach to keep him away. I have Kovalev winning by split decision” – Mark Elezaj

“Canelo split decision, Kovalev will get robbed again and will retire after the fight” – Frank Elezaj

“Canelo will try to overwhelm Kovalev with speed and punches in bunches, but Kovalev will utilize his reach and patience to pick his shots and capitalize on the openings. Kovalev by decision” – Geo Kocovic

“Canelo by decision” – Gezim Camaj

“Canelo by 7th round TKO” – Melvin Fernandez

“Kovalev by late round Knockout” – Rocky Elezovic

“Canelo going up 2 weight classes puts him at a disadvantage, but his 7 year age difference and Mexican style pressure fighting will wear down Kovalev giving Canelo the advantage to win by TKO in later rounds” – Ben Kocovic

“Kovalev by 7th round knock out ” – Maria Elezaj

“Oh man that’s tough! It’s going to be a brawl! They are both really tough fighters that always show lots of heart. They will leave it all in the ring, but in the end it will be Kovalev by split decision. .” – Carmen Kocovic

“I’m going with Canelo winning by majority decision” – Nick M
